Wee Generation Bath and Body Products Are Great for Baby – And Mom Too!

Seventh Generation, best known for its eco-friendly household products, has recently released a line of natural bath and body products for your baby.

Wee Generation products include diaper cream, baby sunscreen, baby shampoo and wash, foaming baby shampoo and wash, baby bubble bath, and baby lotion.

All of the Wee Generation bath and body products are free of parabens, phthalates, and synthetic fragrances. They are also hypoallergenic and gluten free.

The gluten free thing tripped me up at first, but it’s important because babies tend to stick stuff in their mouths that they shouldn’t. Also, babies with wheat allergies can have a reaction from skin contact with a product containing gluten.

The items in the Seventh Generation baby care line are the first USDA certified biobased products for babies. They are made with extra virgin olive oil for moisturization and citrus extracts for a fresh, clean scent.

I absolutely love the way the baby shampoo and wash smells. In fact, I’ve started using it instead of my regular shampoo and body wash. My hair looks great and I love how clean I feel when I step out of the shower.

My son, who is also past the age of needing special “baby” bath and body products, really likes the baby lotion. He has very dry, sensitive skin and says it doesn’t sting when he puts it on, unlike some of the other lotions I’ve purchased for him in the past.

Seventh Generation products can be found in Target, Whole Foods Market, Kroger, Safeway, and Albertson’s stores nationwide. Even if you don’t have a little one at home, they are well worth checking out if you have sensitive skin and want a natural body care product.

Have you had a chance to try any of the new Wee Generation baby bath and body products? If so, what did you think?
