I can’t promise that these are healthy treats … but I can promise they are good!
They all require few ingredients, no oven, and are very easily made by your kiddos with little help from you!
So, grab a cup of your favorite beverage, help the kids lay out the ingredients, and let them make the afternoon snack for a change!!
Fluffer Nutter Bites: I won’t lie. I think these sound divine. And, they’re simple to make, requiring just five ingredients: peanut butter, honey, marshmallows, nonfat dry milk, and peanuts.
Fruit Kabobs:Â Slice up the fruit and give your kids a few skewers. Let them put the fruit on the sticks and then give them some yogurt to dip it in. Easy as can be! Another great alternative dip which is super yummy is Cool-Whip and peanut butter mixed together … delish!
Peanut Butter Granola Bars:Â This will require some oversight by mom … it’s true. But only because you have to melt a few things together on the stove. But let the kids mix it up and spread it in the pan!
Jelly Bean Nests:Â You could even make these without jelly beans with no problem … they don’t have to be just an Easter snack!
Skinny Funsicles:Â Who doesn’t love popsicles? These require two ingredients: vanilla ice cream and V8 Splash in your choice of flavor … how much easier does it get?
