The Mommy Files: Awesome Father’s Day Crafts

Now that Mother’s Day has come and gone, it’s time to think about Father’s Day. And though you can certainly buy a Father’s Day gift for your beloved, it’s nice to have the kids do a little crafting too.

At school, for Mother’s Day, the kids all put their footprints on a small art canvas and then the teacher drew the middle of a butterfly … I think it came out pretty cute, don’t you?

This tree print is along the same lines and slightly more masculine … perfect for dad. Based on the post, it sounds like her friend came up with the bare tree, but I Googled it and easily found several “bare tree” images that could be used.

Pizzazzerie has several great ideas, including a recipe for a delicious-sounding snack mix. They even give you a link to the printable labels so you can have the kids box them up!

Craftaholics Anonymous also has a list of ten different ideas that will make any dad smile. Personally, I like these mustache mugs … but that’s just me.

One thing is for sure: with all these cute ideas, there’s no reason to go the standard tie routine!
