Everyone knows that being out in the sun without sunscreen is a bad idea. But there are other times that you’re exposed to the sun that you’re probably not thinking about … and there are likely a few places that you’re forgetting to apply sunscreen.

In the Car: Have you ever noticed that your left arm is more tan than your right? Particularly if you drive a lot. You’re exposed to a lot of sun during your commute, whether you realize it or not.

In the House: Just like in the car, sun can come through the windows of the house. Not only that, the sun reflects off of surfaces like glass tabletops, mirrors, and even picture frames.

In the Wind: Just like water, wind will wear away sunscreen, so make sure that you’re reapplying every two hours.

On the Body: There are many spots on your body that many people forget to put sunscreen on. These areas includes place like lips, the back of your ears, the part in your hair, and the tops of your feet (especially during sandal season).

I have  not thought about all of these ways before! I have had my lips sunburned before and it is awful. I also hate it when the tops of my feet get sunburned!
