Traveling with a newly potty trained child contains its own set of nail biting moments. Not only does it mean that you have to hope that Juniorette tells you of her need to go potty when you are close to bathroom, you have to hope that the rest stop or gas station bathroom is clean enough that you would actually want to allow the skin of your child’s bum to touch anything in there, including the toilet paper.

Yeah, I have been in public restrooms where I was not even sure that the toilet paper was safe to use.

The Travel Potty Chair by Baby Gear is an answer to that very problem. It is portable and lightweight with storage enough to hold a change of underwear, wipes, and bags to fit the potty.

When nature calls you can pull over safely and have your child sit on the potty, do her thing, and seal the bag up to be disposed of the next time you are near a toilet. You can use gallon sized sealable bags which will contain the contents and the smell.

The biggest complaint seems to be that the seat is too small for a boy and the shield that is included is not quite big enough to keep the pee from shooting straight ahead if you aren’t careful.

Having a potty chair handy can keep your toddler on track with her potty training whether you are headed for the mall or on a cross country vacation.
