What a great list of resources.  You never know what’s going to happen in this life and having extra food on the shelf is like having money in your savings account for emergencies.  You hope they never happen, but you take precaution all the same.  I save money all the time by buying things in bulk, and not going to the store because I already have powdered eggs and milk on hand.  There’s ALWAYS food in the house when you have a stocked pantry.
