Candy-themed Memory Game Is a Sweet Addition to Family Game Night

Memory is my favorite children’s game to play. I can’t stand Chutes and Ladders, and Candy Land bores me to tears after after about 10 minutes. But, I’ll gladly play Memory with my son all day long.

There are a ton of different Memory games out there, but this candy-themed game from eeBoo caught my eye because of the cute vintage graphics. Kids can match up to 24 pairs of candy like candy canes, snow caps, candy corn, gum drops, and caramels.

The game is recommended for children ages five and up, but could be played with children as young as three. When my son was learning how to play Memory, I started with a small number of pairs to make the game easier. As he got the hang of the game, I slowly added cards to make it more challenging.

My son has trouble paying attention for long periods of time, so starting slow made it much easier for him to understand how to play the game properly.

My husband and I like to have family game nights with our son. We usually have some sort of silly prize for the winner, like a paper crown or an extra dessert. With this game, I think it would be cute to have a jar of candy in the middle of the table and let everyone pick out a piece when they found a matching pair.

The eeBoo Memory game is available on the Oompa website for $13.49. Oompa specializes in providing toys that are thoughtfully-designed heirloom quality products you will want to save for future generations.
