Babyhome: Affordable BabyGear with a European Design

Babyhome is a company that is just breaking into the American market. Based in Spain, it has been creating well-built baby gear with a colorful contemporary look for years. Although it may be difficult to find locally, there is a nice selection of their products on Amazon.

These award winning designs are on the high side of affordable but the extra thought that went into the engineering and the durability make them well worth it to many parents.

Emotion

The easy to use Emotion stroller comes in seven colors and eye catching European design. The frame is lightweight aluminum, giving the stroller a weight of only 13 pounds. You can take it anywhere with ease.

It also has nice design elements like a reclining seat, adjustable foot rest, waterproof canopy, shopping basket, rain cover, and mosquito netting.

Eat

babyhome high chair

Eat is a light, safe high chair with a shiny aluminum frame. The base is wide, making it very stable, and the large seat has a quilted liner made from high quality fabric. It can be removed and washed for cleanliness. The harness is adjustable so that it can grow with your baby and the tray is removable for washing, as well as use at the table.

Once you are finished with dinner, just wipe the tray; fold the high chair and store.

Dream

baby home portable crib

The Dream is a lightweight portable crib that will hold a child up to 55 pounds. With just a small click of a button, the leg system is changed from rocker to stationary to wheels that make it easy to move.

The fabric is removable and washable and the bed comes with a high density foam mattress as well as a breathable, honey-comb style mattress pad.

I saw these at a Baby Expo recently – they’re really nice in person.  The Dream is especially dreamy.  It won’t last for forever, but it is a really nice early days crib.

Love these – although I highly recommend consignment sales – I went through about 5 strollers bought and sold them through consignment.   I think the biggest thing to remember is that you’ll never find the be all and end all product-  kids grow and change, and the products may just not fit them anymore!

Since we had so many our stuff tended to get passed down. A consignment shop is a great idea!

I’d like to see them in real life. They do look fabulous.
